Animals are taken there or picked up daily. If the pet has been missing for a few days, this would be the place to start. Another option for finding a missing animal is printing and posting fliers around the neighborhood, with an image of the pet imprinted on the flier if possible. This will ensure the correct animal is returned. Always ask friends and family, they are the most likely candidates to recognize the beloved family member quickly. Even though this is fairly uncommon, if a recent move has taken place, try searching the old neighborhood. Some animals find their way to known places.
